Adamas Build Guide
Disassembly
- Before disassembling the Adamas, ensure that the PCB has been tested and all keys are functioning properly. If you experience any technical issues, feel free to contact us via our contact form or Discord server.
- Place the Adamas on a clean, soft surface with the top side facing down, and attach the 4 transparent feet to the designated recessed areas on the bottom case.
- Flip the case top side up and carefully remove the 4 button head T6 | M2 x 6mm screws. Avoid letting the screwdriver come too close to the case walls to prevent accidental scratches.
- Lift the top case and set it aside.
Build
- Attach the 14 gaskets to the designated recessed areas on the bottom case.
- Secure the Plate + PCB to the top case at the mounting points using the 7 socket cap T6 | M2 x 6mm screws provided.
- Tighten the screws in an alternating X pattern, starting from the center and moving outward. Begin with one screw, then tighten the diagonally opposite screw, forming an 'X' shape.
- Continue this pattern until all 7 screws are securely fastened. Ensure they are snug, but do not overtighten to avoid stripping the threads. Tighten just until resistance is felt.
Assembly
- Carefully align the top case with the bottom case and place them together. You should feel slight compression as the gaskets make contact.
- Secure the 4 button head T6 | M2 x 6mm case screws, again using an alternating X pattern and taking care not to bring the screwdriver too close to the case walls.
- Your build is now complete—simply plug in your Adamas and enjoy!
Disclaimer
When assembling or disassembling the Adamas, please exercise caution during the screwing and unscrewing process to avoid accidental damage.
- Avoid over-tightening screws: This can damage the threading or the anodised finish of the case.
- Use the correct tools: Ensure your screwdriver matches the screw size to prevent stripping or slippage.
- Be mindful of the screwdriver bit: Take care to avoid scraping the screwdriver bit against the top case, as this may scratch the anodised surface.
- Work on a clean, soft surface: This will help protect the case and components from accidental scratches or damage.
We will not be responsible for damages caused by improper handling during the build process. If you have any questions or need assistance, please contact us via our contact form or Discord server.
