About the AURUM
Introducing Aurum by RAE, following the Adamas, we wanted to create something that felt equally deliberate but carried a different kind of presence. Where the Adamas drew from brilliance and facets, Aurum finds beauty in calm precision, in the quiet glow of something enduring.
Aurum is a 60% keyboard inspired by a form I encounter often in my jewellery work, the gold bar. Not for its value, but for its form. The way it holds its geometry with confidence, its smooth planes, and the warmth it reflects. I wanted to translate that same sense of timeless composure into a keyboard that feels balanced, grounded, and lasting.
The foundation of Aurum lies in the pursuit of simplicity refined through detail. Every surface and line was drawn with restraint, shaped to let proportion and finish speak louder than embellishment. From the first concept sketch to the third and final prototype, every iteration was a process of refinement. The goal was finding harmony between sharpness and softness, structure and warmth.

Aurum FAQ
The Aurum utilises the Gasket Integrated Top-Mount, combining traditional top mount with gasket tabs under the plate (as seen used on the Adamas).
The Aurum comes in Obsidian Black, Heritage Green, Cerulean Blue, and Vermillon Red.
The Aurum will come with a CNC-milled, anodised aluminium full plate. CNC-milled, carbon fibre (CF) full plates or polypropylene (PP) full plates will also be available as an optional add-on. Plate files will also be provided at a later date for those who prefer to custom cut their own.
The Aurum will come with a full aluminium plate in fixed configurations, additional plate materials will be available to purchase for those looking to customize their typing experience.
We anticipate starting the Raffle Group Buy in January 2026, with production estimated to complete in mid-late Q2 2026.
