About the ADAMAS
Introducing the Adamas by RAE, a blend of fine jewellery artistry and thoughtful engineering. Guided by our co-founder and seasoned jewellery designer, William, we set out to bring a touch of the diamond’s timeless beauty to the world of mechanical keyboards. The Adamas reflects this vision, balancing form and function with a careful attention to detail.
The design of Adamas is inspired by the elegance of a diamond, with each curve and line thoughtfully crafted to mirror the facets that create a gemstone’s sparkle. Made from durable 6063 aluminium, the body of Adamas has a subtle strength, while the internal weight gives it a satisfying heft, offering a solid, full-bodied typing experience.
The heart of Adamas lies in its sandblasted copper weights, both internal and external, showcasing our dedication to craftsmanship and precision. The external weight, viewable from the bottom, reflects the top profile of a diamond,a nod to its inspiration. A small badge on the back left corner completes the design, hinting at the clean lines and profile of a diamond.
What's New in R2
Internal Weight Design:
The internal weight has been subtly updated with a new look while maintaining all dimensions of internal and external weight.
Redesigned Case Mounting:
Inspired by other case designs. Case mountings have been replaced with angled screw mountings to avoid potential scuffs during assembly.
Diamond Badge Machining:
The diamond badge on the back now features inverted lines, replacing the extruded design from R1.
PCB & Plate Revision:
The PCB and Plate design has been updated to accommodate the new top to bottom case mounting points.
New & Familiar Colours:
R2 introduces Sheer Lilac and Basalt Grey colour variants with the Desert Taupe variant making a comback due to popular request.

Adamas R2 FAQ
The Adamas introduces a Gasket Integrated Top-Mount, combining traditional top mount with gasket tabs under the plate for a more refined typing experience.
The Adamas R2 is available in Sheer Lilac, Basalt Grey, and Desert Taupe.
The Adamas will come with a CNC-milled, anodised aluminium full plate. CNC-milled, carbon fibre (CF) full plates and polypropylene (PP) full plates will also be available as an optional add-on. Plate files will also be provided at a later date for those who prefer to custom cut their own.
The Adamas will come with a full aluminium plate and in fixed configurations, but additional plate materials will be available for those looking to customize their typing experience.
The Raffle Group Buy will take place on 27th of October, with production completing in Q1/ Q2 2026.
